World Premiere Recording of Phill Niblock’s organ works

When I met Phill Niblock, he had already made one piece for the organ in 2007 called Nagro (aka Organ) which I performed many times. And when I got invited to Musica Strasbourg in 2019 I got asked what I wanted to do, and I proposed that they commission another pieces that I could premiere at the festival. The result was Unmounted / Muted Noun for organ and 4 pre-recorded organ parts.

The recording was made on the magnificent Klais / Thomas organ in Saint-Waudru in Mons, and Phill was present during both the recording and the concert.
